In order to monitor vital signs such as resting breathing and heart rate, Invixia stated that it has collaborated with board certified veterinary cardiologists to develop deep learning artificial intelligence using micro radar sensors - the same as the Soli radar used by Google in its Pixel 4 phone. Another advantage, Caudron said, is that the collar can be hung more loosely and comfortably around the dog's neck. The smartwatches and fitness trackers used by humans are not like this. They require a tighter fit and good skin contact to obtain accurate heart rate readings.
