There are three common communication technologies we currently use, Bluetooth technology, WiFi technology, and the less commonly used NFC technology, which almost cover all aspects of life applications. Although Bluetooth technology is currently the most commonly used technology in the market, the other two technologies also have their advantages. So what are the characteristics of Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC technologies?

1、 Bluetooth technology

This is a wireless data and voice communication technology based on low-cost close range wireless connections. This special close range wireless technology supervises the communication environment for both fixed and mobile devices. The connection method of Bluetooth technology can achieve single point to multi-point, and the power consumption is also very low. However, Bluetooth still has some shortcomings in speed, and the transmission distance has now been greatly improved. Our common application scenarios are on Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

2、 WiFi technology

WiFi is actually a short-range wireless transmission technology that receives radio signals over a much larger distance than Bluetooth. WiFi has a high speed but also a particularly high power consumption, so it has not been widely used compared to Bluetooth. However, WiFi can also connect point-to-point and has a faster speed. Nowadays, there are many applications of WiFi in smart homes, and the control of drones using WiFi may also be more stable.

3、 NFC technology

This technology may not be very common in daily life yet, but it is actually a short-range high-frequency wireless communication technology. Nfc can quickly establish a wireless network, providing a 'virtual connection' for cellular and Bluetooth wifi devices, and then electronic devices can communicate over short distances. The power consumption of Nfc is also very low, but the connection can only be point-to-point, and the transmission speed is also relatively slow. Currently, the application scenarios may be more in access control cards, subway cards, credit cards, and so on.

Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC each have their own advantages and disadvantages, but it must be said that the application of these three technologies in daily life is already very extensive.
